Terms of Use

Last updated 2026-08-14

By using TickerBase — the website, the applications, and everything published under them — you agree to these terms. If you do not, please do not use the service.

What this service is, and is not

TickerBase publishes financial-statement history, charts and do-it-yourself valuation tools, together with the Behind the Moat analysis series. All of it is provided for educational and informational purposes only. It is not financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security. We are not your broker, adviser or fiduciary, and no relationship of that kind is created by using the service.

By standing policy the service publishes no price targets, no forward-looking estimates, and no buy, sell or hold verdicts. Any per-share value produced by the valuation workbench is computed entirely from assumptions you supply; it is your output, not our opinion of what anything is worth.

Accuracy, and the absence of a warranty

Figures come from public filings by way of third-party data providers, and they can be stale, mislabelled or wrong. We correct what we find, but the service is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Verify any figure against the company's own filings before relying on it. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss — including investment loss — arising from use of the service.

Your account

An account is optional and free. Keep your sign-in method secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time from the account menu, which erases it and the synced copy of your lists — see the privacy policy. We may suspend an account that is used to attack, overload or abuse the service.

Acceptable use

You may read, cite and link to anything here. You may not: interfere with the service or its infrastructure; attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours; or place automated load on the site heavy enough to degrade it for other readers. Reasonable, well-behaved automated access is fine — sustained scraping of the whole library is not.

Content and reuse

The financial data published on company pages is offered under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence: reuse it, including commercially, provided you credit TickerBase and link back. That licence covers the data only. The editorial content — the Behind the Moat briefs, episode scripts and analysis — together with the site's design, code, name and marks, remains our copyright and is not covered by it. Underlying source data remains subject to the terms of the providers it came from.

Third-party links

Links to filings, brokers, podcast platforms and other sites are provided for convenience. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Changes and termination

These terms may change; the date above changes with them, and continued use after that is acceptance. The service is free and may be modified, interrupted or discontinued at any time. You may stop using it, and delete your account, whenever you like.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the courts of Tel Aviv have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute — without depriving a consumer of the protection of the mandatory law of their own country of residence.

About TickerBase · Data methodology & sources · Privacy · Terms

TickerBase is provided for educational and informational purposes only. It does not constitute financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security. No price targets are published; any per-share value shown in the valuation workbench is generated entirely from reader-supplied assumptions and is not the publisher's view of fair value. Past performance does not predict future results. Figures are approximate and drawn from public filings; one-time items are noted where identified. Do your own research and consult a licensed professional before making any investment decision. The author may or may not hold positions in the securities discussed.
